Maleny Lodge sets the scene perfectly for an authentic 'Murder Mystery' experience. The mystery kicks off in the drawing room where all guests are gathered. A blood-curdling scream, footsteps running down the hallway, the loud slamming of a door and the divulgence of clues all add to the suspense.

Suitable for eight people, guests are sent an invitation including the details and background of their assumed character approximately two weeks prior to the event. Guests are invited to dress in character and dress formally for dinner in keeping with the era. To join in the fun, staff and the facilitator also dress in costume. Clues are distributed at various stages throughout the mystery and guests are provided with a notepad and pencil. This fun and exciting extravaganza culminates after a 3 course silver-service dinner in the stunning dining room.
